Daya Betty Eats the Dragon Fly!

How uncanny that on Friday's episode of RuPaul's Drag Race, there was a Dragon Fly in the Werk Room.

Dragon Flies have long been associated with mysticism, transformation and a shedding of darkness to discover hidden luminosity. Dragon Flies are also associated with the faerie realm.

By ingesting the Dragon Fly, Daya Betty is taking the mystical power of transformation into her body and gracing herself with good luck in this competition.

Though she did not win the maxi-challenge on this episode. She did receive overwhelming praise from none other than the Queen of all Judgey Queens - Miss Violet Chachki in the following episode of the Pit Stop.

I believe Miss Daya Betty will have a remarkable journey forward in her drag career all for being so brazen as to eat a Dragon Fly on national tv!
