January 2022 Astrology
Happy New Year!
(I've decided to share a little of my astrology wisdom with you all).
2022 - the Year of the Tiger - promises to be an energetic, restorative year, marked by the transit of Jupiter through Pisces, a sign of Jupiter's ruling.
Jupiter is a planet that brings information and experience together to form meaning and in Pisces, the crucible of meaning centers on faith in a loving universe.
We begin 2022 in a contemplative quietude with the New Moon in Capricorn on Jan 2, Venus still retrograding, and the final square (the square that ripped society apart in 2021) between Saturn and Uranus separating at last.
Take January slowly and use it as a time to assess what is truly meaningful and valuable to you. Give yourself permission to close out relationships that no longer serve your lightness of being and to "re-gift" possessions that create distracting clutter in corners, closets, countertops, and shelves.
Mercury retrogrades on Friday, January 14th and is already in the "retrograde shadow zone". So this is not the best time to move forward, but to reflect on the past with a brighter future in mind.
On Friday, January 28th, Mercury retrograde conjuncts Pluto just as Venus stations direct and this day will reveal something that marks a turning point. Look to your Capricorn house for guidance on where revelation will manifest.
January 31st is the New Moon in Aquarius and Lunar Imbolc (Imbolc is February 2). This is the time to launch your 2022 vision into the World, even if just symbolically.
