Astrology Insights for June, 2022

By the time you are reading this, Mercury Retrograde will be over, as will the bulk of astrological drama for this time of year. Phewww!!!

June is a much lighter month, with Saturn turning retrograde on Saturday and taking some of the pressure off. So there is plenty of free, easy energy for Pride Month!

Gemini Season is an interesting time of year, as a double-bodied zodiac sign (meaning it comes as the last sign of the season), there is a frenetic, changeable quality in the atmosphere, which can make people feel anxious or unsteady.

It works well for Festival Month because the booming activity of large social events keeps you distracted, on your toes and in motion, where taking too much time to think can feel unnerving this time of year.

Gemini is a sign meant to stay in-motion after all!

Gemini is the final month before Summer Solstice, when the light-of-day reaches its peak and begins its slow unwind back towards Winter - a sobering notion indeed.

That peak of lightness, the Summer Solstice, is the culmination of the year, when both aspirations and disappointments are laid bare and manifest, much a like a Full Moon, yet grander.

Did your wish come true? Has the doorway to your big dream opened for you yet?

If not, Summer is the perfect season to regroup.

Like a Full Moon, the Summer Solstice is a sacred day to honor how far you’ve come and what you are most excited about for moving forward.

Solstices and Equinoxes carry a poignant vibration from the depths of the Earth and this is why ancient cultures worldwide honored them. So these days are apt times for cultivating self-healing and feeling into your own essential magick.

Personally, I like to transform my kitchen table into a bountiful altar, decorated with fresh flowers, bowls of fruit, crystals I’ve collected and statues of my beloved gods and goddesses, like Hermes, Saraswati, Venus and Dionysus.

This past Winter I learned a new technique called “Altar Constellations” where small objects represent ancestors and subtle movements translate as healing gestures. Altar constellations calm the effects of generational trauma and reconnect threads of love, nurturing and support. Altar constellation work is just one of my offerings in my Be Your Own Goddess” coaching, which is now perfected! 💫
